Cookie policy

1. Current use

This portfolio uses a functional cookie to remember the language and, only with permission, Google Analytics 4 for basic audience measurement. Analytics scripts and cookies are not activated before that choice, and personalized advertising is not used.

2. First-party cookie

• portfolio_locale — purpose: remember whether you selected Spanish or English; provider: this site; maximum duration: 12 months; type: functional and first-party; SameSite: Lax.
• _ga and _ga_<ID> — purpose: distinguish sessions and generate aggregated usage statistics when you allow Google Analytics 4; provider: Google; duration and configuration: those set in the Analytics property; not created when analytics is rejected.

3. Local storage

Your browser locally stores portfolio_cookie_notice_v1 and portfolio_analytics_consent_v1 to remember the notice and your analytics choice. They contain no identity, email, or browsing history and remain until you clear site data.

4. Managing storage

You can delete or block the cookie and local storage through your browser settings. If you remove portfolio_locale, the site will choose a language again from your browser preference or the route you visit.

You can change your analytics choice by deleting portfolio_analytics_consent_v1 and reloading the site; the notice will appear again. You can also delete Google's cookies through your browser settings.

Links to GitHub, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, Aether Commerce, or other services open external sites that apply their own policies and may use their own cookies after you visit them.

5. Future changes

If non-essential cookies are added, this policy and the notice will be updated and those technologies will not be activated before any required consent is obtained.
